Dog Walks I have Taken - Review of Around the Block

Narrative

I get this walk a lot since it's right outside my front door in Ladner (Delta). Lately Mom has been extending the length of these walks after seeing that guy on TV (Cesar Millan - Dog Whisperer) who has this great idea that dogs need more exercise and stimulation.

Unfortunately, some of Cesar's other ideas, such as that the human should be the pack leader, are causing me a lot of grief and I've lost my status in the household. But ... it's a trade-off that I can live with and I'm quite happy with the turn of events .. that's because "I live in the moment" (also Cesar-speak).

This "around the block" walk can last anywhere from 10 minutes to 45 or even 60 minutes when we take a side trip to the local baseball park ... I definitely like the longer ones. The frequency of these walks is also excellent, 2-3 times per week.
