Monte Lake near Kamloops is a pit stop on our way to summer holidays in the interior of B.C. It's always a quick stop, since it only has the lake for cooling off and taking a drink. The lake has a nice gentle slope into the water, so I can walk about 15 feet before I have to turn around.
I don't actually go swimming, I just like to walk in up to my tummy ... once my front paws can't touch the bottom of the lake, I've gone far enough. I can do the dog paddle if I have to, but why do it unless it's an emergency.
