1951 Canadian Chess Championships
The 1951 Canadian Chess Championships were held at the Hotel Vancouver in
Vancouver, B.C. from August 24th to September 1st.
A total of 13 players matched wits and competed for the championship trophy
and bragging rights for the following year. In the end, Paul Vaitonis of
Hamilton, Ontario was crowned the victor.
