2. William2 Searight (John1) was born circa
1808.1 He married Margaret Thomson.4,5 He died of heart
disease on 27 April 1886 in Gransha, Dromara, County Down, Ireland.4,1
He was a weaver and labourer.4,1 He was also known
as William Seright.4 The Griffiths Valuation shows
William residing in Gransha in a house leased from John Bowman. This was on land
originally leased from Lord Viscount Dungannon by his father, John Seawright in
1805. By 1883, William owned the house outright, valued at 10
Shillings.6
Margaret Thomson died before November 1858.4

Seright, born 21 December 1836 in Dromara, County Down, Ireland; married Susan Bowie.

1 October 1839 in Dromara, County Down, Ireland.5 She was a
housekeeper, and died of old age
on 10 April 1912 in Carnew, Banbridge, County Down, Ireland, at age 72.1
- 8 iv. John Searight was born on
25 February 1842 in Dromara, County Down, Ireland.5
- 9 v. Mary Searight was born on 31
May 1845 in Dromara, County Down, Ireland.5 She married Joseph
Patterson, son of Moses Patterson, on 9 August 1867 in
Lisburn, County Down, Ireland.1

Elizabeth
Searight, born 7 October 1848 in Dromara, County Down, Ireland; married James Meekens.
3. John2 Searight (John1) married Elizabeth Greer, daughter of Jonathon Greer, on
14 May 1828 in First Dromara Presbyterian Church, Dromara, County Down,
Ireland.7,5 He died before
April 1855 in Gransha, County Down, Ireland.2
