Genealogy of the McClelland and Related Families - van Schilt Family
This site contains a narrative of the descendants of
Antonius
van Schilt of Noord-Brabant, Netherlands. His eight children from the early
1700's were the
beginning of a large family. As was typical of the day, the
geographic spread of the descendants remained close, with only a few
individuals venturing beyond the borders of the Netherlands. The research aim on
these pages is a comprehensive tracking of the van Schilt surname,
currently totalling 525 people and 220 families.
Eight generations are followed, with photos and links provided where available.
A genealogy listing of this magnitude is made possible only through the generous contributions of numerous family members. Many thanks are owed to these cousins for their genealogy research and documentation efforts.
