    Seright Descendents
Contains a narrative of the descendants of John Seawright. John and his family lived in County Down, Ireland in the early 1800's. He established a homestead in Gransha, Dromara with land leased from Lord Viscount Dungannon in 1805. That original land is still believed to be in the possession of John's descendants.

The research follows family members who emigrated to Scotland around 1850, and then to Canada in the early 1900's. The emigration from Ireland also coincides with the spelling change of the family surname, shifting to the "Seright" variation. It was here, in Glasgow, that the family cemetery plot was established in the district of Cathcart.

A total of six generations are followed, with photos provided where available.
